Donor wall project at Dartmouth College Tuck Business School The school wanted to thank their donors with an eye catching display in a prominent area. We worked with Flannel Brands and Bingham Painting & Wallcovering
This wall at the bottom of the staircase leading to Byrne hall classrooms was chosen. The wall size is 10 feet tall and 30 feet wide. The wall was cleared, sanded and painted then primed to acccept the printed photograph wall mural.
The wall mural is put up in 4 foot wide strips 10 feet tall.
A laser level is used to keep the seams aligned. The mural was cut around an access panel so it was still usable.
Any air bubbles are worked out as the paste is smoothed.
The photo mural was left to dry for two days before glass panels were mounted.
The tempered glass panels are mouted with stand-offs to float off the wall.
Behind the glass the donor names are printed on plexiglass so they can be updated.
A second etched plexi panel is behind the donor names to make them easier to read.
The overall effect of the project is very eye-catching.
